The UK is a popular destination for birdwatching with around three million people every year actively choosing to go birdwatching, according to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). Cley Marshes Nature Reserve at Cley next-the-Sea, Norfolk is one of the most popular birdwatching sites in the whole of the UK. Its reed beds and grazing marshes serve as the perfect resting ground for migratory birds. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust (NWT) has a popular visitor centre which offers excellent viewing areas as well as an excellent café which makes the perfect refreshment stop for a quick cuppa whilst ensuring your binoculars are still poised on capturing that elusive bird.
